I'm just going out, I may be some time...posted May 30th 2008, 4:24PM
Mood: Melancholy
Right, I'm off home for a bit now, so it may be a while before I can reply properly to things. On the other hand if I can sort out my internet with my new laptop then perhaps it won't be so long, but either way be at least prepared for my magical dissapearance. Thank god the exams are all finally finished. I get the fun of waiting for results now...
Hello world. I always feel like a prannet talking about myself, but basically I'm a complete and utter raving nutcase who spends the majority of his free time playing with wolves. However I am currently at university studying zoology (in the hope that one day people might actually pay me to play with wolves) and that's fun too. Also, I'd like to point out that my artistic experience is basically rivaled by my ability to turn spoons into exotic wild fruits using nothing but pure willpower. In other words I really only started this whole drawing lark a couple of months back, thanks to a completely random whim (the main reason why I ever get anything done) and more importantly due to the vigilant guidance of Suzu. If anyone knows any way I can improve then be as brutal as you like. It's the only way I'll ever get better...
Finally, I pride myself on being hairy, red-green colourblind and born of friday the 13th, among other things. Get the idea?
Fellow wolf obsessed nutcase, also likes zombies and draws both a lot better than I ever expect to in any reasonable amount of time. Gave me my first ever art lesson which somewhat inspired me. Hence me being here at all. Probably one of the best computer artists I've as yet found on the site. Seems to be sad a lot lately, but I don't really know why. Also mysteriously turns into Sasuke with the aid of copious quantities of hairgel. Oh yeah, and she goes beserk for some reason whenever I say anything to her in person. Likes horses and, along with many other things, draws them well. Does some nice jewelery too. Often our comments turn into lengthy conversations and she seemingly has an affinity with emoticons.
you know... I was lying when I said all that junk about my thesis. It's really that "a wolf's manner of thinking is remarkably similar to human beings," and that wolves are very analytical, and concious of making decisions. All that extra stuff I mentioned was sort of just extra underlying stuff. Thinking and thought process is my main point ><
Aha, that seems simpler to do (well, still a tad trickey). I know some good studies which support various human memory models that could be compared with their canine counterparts from when I did A-level psychology. That could be really interesting... I think I know what you mean about the extra bits though. That's mostly the kind of stuff I'd be inclined to include in my conclusion, as it would seem pretty valid to point out that any similarities in our thought patterns may directly influence the necessary ethical standpoint which we take toward them (for some reason humans think it's OK to shoot 'thick' animals but not intelligent ones )
Aw well, no worries I hope you have a fun sleepover, I don't even REMEMBER the last time I had one. It must have been about eight years ago or something at a guess. Eep! Do you have lots of college friends? I always picture you being surrounded by friends, yet I don't hear a huge amount about them with a few exceptions.
Also did you go to the museum? How was it?
Gale's last name is 'Motter'. She's got a BSc in Zoology too if you're going to be using a full referencing style like the Harvard system or something. If there's anything else you want to know then give me a shout, or otherwise I'm sure you could MSN her. I've got her addie if you haven't.
The museum was pretty funny actually.....The reason we went was to see this elleged kimono exhibit, but when we got there, we saw the signs for the Italian Renaissanse, and such, so we naturally went there first. (we love old master paintings and sculptures). We spent such a long time there that we got hungry, and Teresa was like a little kid going, "im hungry~. I'm tired~ I wanna leave now~" it was soooo cuuuute X3 So we left. And then we ate cheeseburgers at the mall near my school. And we went shopping in this completely girly store. Then we made stupid faces at each other and took pictures. Then we went to go wait for our train home and realized we hadn't seen the kimono exhibit at all...... *stupid laugh*
Our train didn't come !! D: So my parents had to come pick us up in the city!!!
It was an action-packed day filled with lots of walking. Teresa drew me pictures in my sketchbook *w*
Four is a good number, less seems lonely, and more seems a bit too many for you all to go round together without someone getting left out somewhere along the line. I never really thought much about how many I have, but now it's almost the end of the year I've realised there were quite a few people I probably should have gotten to know, but never really did. It's like everyone realises what they missed out on throughout the year, but only when half the people are all dissapearing after summer! Bah, never mind though, lesson learned...
That sounds like a cool trip though, (even the girly shopping bit ) but in a way perhaps it's good that you missed the kimono exhibit! After all now you have to go back and do it again As for trains, they're pretty bad here too. Did I tell you about the last time I tried to get from home to university by train? It took ages and ages and ages and was very boring. Every connection went wrong, and I mean EVERY connection (all four of them). At least, I like days where there's lots of walking. I never feel the day was used properly unless my legs feel a little achey at the end. It the same mentality that determines the success of the day by the number of grass stains, small cuts and bruises I suppose.
A stalker? My very own stalker! Huzzars in order
Random comments are great, you can't go wrong with stewed rocks and a spoon born of purest heartfelt love...
Awesome, pleased to meet you! JaQuia's a cool name, I wish I had an interesting one like that. Anyhoo, yeah I've heard a bit about you too. And thanks for the watch, I shall do likewise...
Yay! I like being cool, and popular Hehe, I'm nothing special really of course, but I might actually get to meet you sometime. Next summer I'll be over at Marlee's house for a while, so maybe you'll be around there somewhere? I'm not really sure where you live normally.
do you have your passport number yet? we want to get the tickets quite soon.
Also! How is your evil scheme working out, with the canned foods? Has anyone figured it's you? Do they still blame each other? Don;t they think it's odd that you are the only one who hasn't had his labels swapped?
I have no idea where it's gone! I'm tearing my hair out at my sheer stupidity, as I just don't know what I've done with it. I remember putting it somewhere safe but I can't even work out which country it's in, let alone anything else. As I said, I'm really, really sorry. I shall find it as soon as I can, but if there's a deadline before which you need to order then just do yours and I'll have to try and catch up. I don't want to be a bother, just because I'm too damn stupid to find my paperwork.
Oh yeah, and I never got found out about the can incident. Basically I hid the first cans, then suggested to another guy in the flat that he should take the label off a couple of new cans because it would be funny. Later, when the victim found the next lot we're all switched around, and I'd mixed in the ones that I'd taken she asked around to find who did it and the guy I'd got to do the last few owned up to it. Basically she then blamed him for EVERYTHING, including the unusually salty taste of all her tea. He, not knowing what's going on just went along with it. I meanwhile went to go plan my next set of silliness...
